Testing Quality Assurance from within the subscriber premise

Service Quality assurance testing can happen on two distinct occasions in the subscriber’s premise pre-deployment testing; before roll out of a new service and post-deployment when an end-user is experiencing service issues.

Using servicEye Spider Service Providers can test the performance and functionality of a new IP service such as VoD or IPTV from a central location, saving the time required in onsite visits. These initial tests provide Service Providers with a valuable insight into the configured networks performance; in addition Service Providers gain valuable knowledge of QoE metrics such as Video quality, IPTV Channel zap times, VoD response times, Voice call quality, call connection times, web page download times etc.

Customers and field technicians can utilize servicEye Spider Client in post deployment when problems occur on their service. The initial test phase will verify the service QoE metrics, such as video quality, VoIP call quality or webpage download times. All information is sent back to the centralized Spider server for support, correlation, planning and operations analysis.
